We are very much thank full to Dr. Jitendra Jain, who has treated our son Aditya Singhal. Our son was suffering from cerebral palsy. His right leg was badly affected and he was not able to walk at all. We had been running around here and there for his treatment and at all the places we were told that the only treatment for him is physio- therapy and calipers hence we were doing the exercises etc. as told by doctors. But there was no significant improvement even after years of pain we had taken. Then one day we came to now about the new treatment being provided only by Dr. Jain in U.P. We got in touch with him and got briefed about the treatment. We immediately decided to go for it and since then i.e. in about 18 months there is about 80% improvement and he is able to do almost all normal activities independently. We sincerely thank Dr. Jain for his service to mankind and wish him great success.

Master Arshad was the my fourth issue and he was delivered by operation for fetal distress on 8 th Oct 2001 but there was accidental release of umbilical clamp resulting in extreme blood loss. After that he was found dull, hypoglycemic and sever jaundice, then he was admitted to a children hospital at Allahabad . He was treated for one week in hospital.
Arshad was declared as a victim of Cerebral Palsy on November 2003. At the age of 2 year Arshad was not able to walk, his leg muscles were stiffed and spastic. Even he was not able to sit straight, hip was not aligned to the body axis. He was referred to AIIMS for further management. After that we consulted many doctors but all of them advised physiotherapy. But there was no sign of any improvement. So in Dec 2004 I consulted Dr J K Jain in Allahabad . He advised to have Botox injection for Arshad which we were not prepared for, so I consulted many places for any foolproof method of treatment but there was no response. So lastly we again met Dr Jain and asked for Botox. Then finally on 18 th July 2005 Dr Jain gave Botox injection to arshad. After 2 week Dr Qadeer started physiotherapy on my child. There was unbelieble result in my child with in 3 months; he started walking with little support. With regular physiotherapy he improved a lot. But we were not able to carry out therapy regularly. From last one year, Dr Jain noticed that Arshad's knees are going into hyperextension because of tight calf muscles. So he advised urgent surgery in the form of OSSCS on both lower limbs. We took 6 month in taking decision and ultimately Arshad undergone OSSCS on 5 th may 2008. After two month of surgery, he started walking in a much balanced way and he is able to walk a long distance. His knee, foot and hip joint are working in good manner. His muscle power improved a lot. I believe that my child will walk as normal child in future. All these became possible by great effort, by team of SAMVEDNA .

When Deepak's mother was pregnant she did not know anything why she was bleeding and had watery discharge continuously. We consulted to many doctors, but discharge did not stop. When pregnancy was of 6 months then she started having pain, then mother again consulted doctor, then gynecologist advised Ultrasound. Then ultrasonologist told that uterus did not have fluid inside and concern gynecologist refused to take the responsibility of the child health after birth. When Deepak was born on 29 th Sept 1994 , his hand was inside his mouth and he did not cry. Lady Doctor referred the child to Hospital equipped with NICU. There he got treatment in NICU for 10 days. When he was 8 months and we tried to make him stand he could not do so. There after we again went to pediatrician, he told that he is weak and he would take long time before he can walk. Then I took him to Viklang Kendra as well as many other places without any result. Then at the age of 12 years I got address of Samvedna. When he was taken to Samvedna he was not able to stand or walk with or without support and his knee was badly bend and foot was twisted outward. Dr Jain assured me that some thing can be done certainly and he will have some capability of walking. Initially plaster was applied in both lower limbs for 3 weeks followed by therapy and braces. With in four months, he started walking with slight support and improved a lot in balancing and confidence. Then after 6 months of therapy his improvement gone to plateau then Dr Jain decided to do surgery. Because of my poor financial situation, I was worried that surgery may not be possible on my child. Then I requested Dr Jain that I will not be able to afford surgery. The he decided to operate free of cost and he arranged some medicine by himself. After OSSCS surgery and three month of vigorous therapy at Samvedna, he started walking a long distance with elbow crutches and even he started walking for few meter without any support. Lastly I was thinking that it was a miracle for me and my child. It was not possible for me & my family to do all this for my child and it became possible only by whole hearted support of SAMVEDNA trust team.

Till the ninth month of gestation everything was alright but 2-3 days before delivery Kriti mother felt week movements of child inside the womb. My gynecologist advised not to worry & took her to home. Next day when her mother felt that fetal movement were becoming less and less then we again consulted doctors, she was advised urgent Ultrasound. After ultrasound she was advised to go immediately for cesarean section. But Operation could be done only at 9:00 P.M. in night. When my daughter was born, she did not cry & her body was blue. My gynecologist advised to take her to hospital equipped with Neonatal intensive care. She was very serious at that time and by third day she started recovering little bit & after 20 days hospitalization she recovered.
After 1 Year she started crawling & little dragging with walker. I thought that she is week & she will walk late. Once I took her to doctor for fever, then he told that something is wrong with her legs. Then I consulted one physiotherapist in medical college then he told that the child is suffering from Cerebral Palsy. First he started Physiotherapy with hot & cold fomentation, and then I also started treatment of a vaidya (ayurvedist) in Rewa, MP. There was no physical improvement but her mental development started nicely. When she did not had any improvement with that physiotherapist, I took her to one of a rehabilitation center, where we carried out therapy for 2 years, but there was no improvement. When she was made to stand she started falling backwardly, and because of that she was very much frightened. After that we went to many places but there was no improvement.
When she was 6 years old, suddenly one day we got information regarding Dr Jain by one of our friend. On Saturday OPD in Samvedna, Dr. Jain examined our daughter and advised to start therapy in center and also told us that she will need surgery in the form of OSSCS. He told us that first we should get confident in the girl and at least she should understand whole staff so that she will cooperate in much better way after surgery. The whole trust staff & physiotherapists started therapy with full devotion & femilior environment. In starting she used to cry but slowly she realized the difference and happily got therapy for which I am very thankful to them. With in one month of therapy, she improve a lot Dr. Jain told us that now the child needs operation which is very necessary. Initially we were not prepared for operation because of-uncertainty of outcome & financial situation.
Lastly on 16 Jan 08 Dr. Jain operated our child with very minimum expenses & total 12 operations were performed on both legs. Operation was successful to our surprise. After 20 days stitches were removed and legs were fully stable and touching the ground with in a month. With supervision of Dr. Jain and expert physiotherapy under his supervision and our effort, there was tremendous improvement in our daughter. Now she is able to walk for long distance with elbow crutches and even able to stand and walk without support.

This is an appeal to layman that if any child in our home or nearby is suffering from disability, they should immediately consult them & get the treatment. At last myself & my family is very-very thankful to Dr. Jain and all the staff of trust and hopes that they will have this kind of sympathy with all. My son Priyam was born on 3 rd Dec 2001 in a reputed hospital under care of very senior gynecologist. Because of some problem to my wife the delivery was conducted prematurely at 7 months. The child was only 900 Gms at birth. Just after birth he was admitted to NICU under Dr. J.V. Rai for two months, he was given oxygen & other treatment because his lungs were immature & he could not breathe without artificial Oxygen.
The child became one year of age & with continuous treatment he became nearly normal but could not move his legs. He also had squint. Initially he could not hold his neck, but by two years he started holding neck & tried to drag himself in prone position on ground.I consulted many doctors regarding this including Orthopedician, Neurologist, Neurosurgeon, ophthalmologist & Pediatrician, but felt that probably these Doctors does not have any treatment .I took my child to Delhi and consulted many Doctors, after that I was sent to AIIMS, where after many investigations they told that child is suffering from Cerebral Palsy & its only treatment is physiotherapy .I was back to Allahabad & started regular Physiotherapy, and both me and my wife also gave therapy as possible, but there was no improvement.
Again I met Dr. J.V. Rai & he advised that you should immediately consult Dr. Jain; probably my good time was there.I met Dr. Jain & he consoles us that his treatment is possible and there is a hope that Priyam can walk and also told us you should have patience. Dr. Jain told that Priyam muscles were tight and its treatment is surgery, which can be done only at 6 year of age. At this time Botox injection would be given which should be effective till 7- 8 month along with continue therapy programme. Then my son got Botox injection and therapy under guidance of Dr Qadeer. My son started sitting and standing without support with in a month of injection. He improved progressively with therapy. After 1 year again muscle was tighten again so second injection was given after 15 months. With second injection he improved a lot. Therapy was carried out at home and he started walking with little support. He even started going to school after ward. Trust SAMVEDNA and team of therapist gave full moral and therapeutic guidance support at each step so that I was not worried about my child. I was in direct touch with Dr Jain for regular follow-up. I was very much satisfied by result given by trust but after 1 year of injection his muscle again started tighten so ankle was not touching ground and he was bending forward during walking for which he needed slight support. So it was decided by Dr Jain and his team that vigorous therapy programmes should continued till 6 year of age. So OSSCS surgery could be performed safely in summer vacation of child. He was operated just after school was over on 29 th march 2008. I could not believe on my eyes that with in a month of OSSCS Priyam was standing absolutely as normal child and he is able to walk a long distance and run also without felling down on ground. I was so happy that he became independent he again joined school without any loss of education. My only worry is that he could continuously walk normally in future also. But I believe that with this type of dedicated team of Samvedna under guidance of Dr. JK Jain we don't have to bother about future of our child.

My son Puskar was born in district hospital, Gonda by surgery on 23th nov 2006 . At the time of birth he was unconscious and he was referred to Lucknow at higher center for neonatal intensive care unit. There he was put on ventilator for 3 days and total 12 days in NICU. After he recovered from that emergency period he was brought to home. Doctor already informed us that he may not recover fully. But we did not worry up to 7 month age when we saw that he is not able to sit and even he is not able hold the neck. Then we worried about his progress and we consulted our pediatrician. He referred us to Dr Jain in SAMVEDNA trust Allahabad for expert opinion. Here Dr Jain advised us to stay in Allahabad for 3- 4 month for therapy and training in home based therapy programme. We stayed for two months and therapy was carried out at Samvedna trust and also at home by me. After only two month he started holding neck and started sitting with slight support. But due to some circumstances we went back to Gonda so therapy was withheld for 2 months and he deteriorated slightly during this period, so again we came to Allahabad and decided to stay in Allahabad till his full recovery. Now after 3 month again he improved and started sitting without support for few minute. Now after seeing this thing I can say with confident that with the great effort of SAMVEDNA team he will be doing work like normal child one day. I am very thankful to Dr. Jain and his team.

Kanij was born at home in 1987. At two year of age, she started falling while walking. We took her to Ranchi where Orthopaedic surgeon started treatment but there was no improvement. Then we took her to KGMC, Lucknow where the concern doctor reevaluated and at last they told us that there is no treatment available for this problem. Then again we went to many places in India but there was no fruitful response. All of them advised only physiotherapy. We carried out physiotherapy for many years, by that she started standing with support but not able to walk independently and both upper limb and lower limb were severely affected and bend. We stopped going anywhere for few year then suddenly one year back we got information regarding Dr Jain and after that we came to Allahabad . After proper evaluation Dr Jain advised OSSCS surgery and assured us that child who has capability of standing with support and presence of neck holding indicate that she can recover fully after surgery and good therapy programme and asked us to stay in Allahabad for 4 months. Lastly kanij was operated on 16 th April 2008. Dr. Jain took 7 hours in surgery and operated on all four limbs in a single sitting. Deformity in all four limbs was corrected fully. Therapy was stated in SAMVEDNA trust. After one month she stated showing miraculous result and she stared standing with little support and range of movement in upper limb also increased dramatically and she started walking with stick after 6 weeks. After three month she is able to do all routine activities without any support like walking on ground, climbing upstairs, and toileting and even able to eat. Now I am confident that she will have much better independent life. All this recovery was only possible by team of Samvedna and Dr Jain. We will be highly grateful to whole team of Samvedna and wish that now all children with cerebral palsy should not suffer so long and should be treated as my daughter in right place like Samvedna.
